Partners and Users

Over 150 schools have been using our various services since i-Learner was first launched in 2004.

We have been supported by partners both here and abroad. In addition to securing the full support of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust, which has promised to deliver a summer workshop package for our users, we have also been working closely with scholars from the Shakespeare Institute to arrange for Hong Kong to have a greater variety of literature programmes for our young people.

We have also been cooperating with or in close liaison with many internationally renowned TESL experts like Prof. David Nunan of the Language Centre of the University of Hong Kong and Dr. Bob Fox of the Centre for Information Technology in Education of the University of Hong Kong in organizing e-English learning and other professional development seminars for teachers and in soliciting ideas for tapping the potentials of e-learning for the benefit of students and teachers.

Quality contents are our lifeblood. Our authentic sources include articles from the Health Department, the Equal Opportunities Commission, Young Post, SCMP, and Student Standard, as well as nursery rhymes, classics, and books by famous writers like Jacqueline Wilson. We have also built our own stock of high quality English learning materials by engaging many quality writers. We are currently negotiating with many renowned publishers and authors so that students can be expose to some of the best pieces of the world.
