6.2 Reported Speech
Day 4 Introductory Verbs
People use all sorts of tones when they speak. They also use words to express different feelings and emotions. If you want to report what people said more accurately and more precisely, you have to know more introductory verbs. Here are some.
人們會使用各種不同的語調來說話。他們會用不?P的詞彙來表達不同的情感和感覺。如果你想要準確地,清楚地覆述他人的說話,你需要知道更多有關 introductory verbs。以下是些例子 :

* You are reminded that a lot of introductory verbs above can be followed by a that-clause in reported speech.
有一點要注意,在上表中的動詞後,可以跟一個 that-clause。
e.g. He complained that his legs were hurting.
He promised that he wouldn’t give himself up.
She suggested that we could go to Milan for our holiday.
