Let's revise the past tense.
Simple past tense: He

Past continuous tense: He _____ (draw) a picture.

Past perfect tense: He
_____ (draw) a picture.
àHe had drawn a picture.
The form of
the passive voice
The passive sentence is formed by:
i.
changing the positions of the two nouns;
He drew a picture.
A picture was drawn by him.
ii. changing the main verb into the perfect tense.
He
drew a picture.
A
picture was drawn by him.
iii.
Adding
the appropriate part of an auxiliary verb
Active sentences in the other tenses can also be changed into
passive sentences in the same way:
Simple past
tense: He drew a picture.
A picture was drawn by him.
Past
continuous tense: He
was drawing a picture.
A picture was being drawn by him.
Past perfect
tense: He had drawn a
picture.
A picture had been drawn by him.
