We recommend that you start with a level that corresponds to your child’s school year. However, you are also welcome to choose levels above or below your child’s school year. All papers for the Quill Writing Assessment are marked by a team of trained Quill Writing Specialists based in the United Kingdom. To ensure the highest levels of marking consistency and accuracy, all papers undergo rigorous double-blind marking. Double-blind marking means that every paper is marked separately by two different examiners. After double-blind marking, the papers are subject to strict adjudication and moderation. This multi-step marking process ensures that the results for every candidate in every cohort are fair and consistent.
